Carmelite Community Centre, Whitefriar Street, Dublin 2.
Commencing: Wednesday 13th September 2017
The Beginning Experience Dublin coping programmes run for seven weeks, twice a year in September and February. We convene on Wednesdays from 19:15 - 21:00.
The programme is structured whereby set topics and themes are discussed each week to help you through the grieving process, in seven clearly defined stages.
Topics are presented by trained facilitators who have suffered losses through bereavement, divorce or separation and are willing to share their experience to help others.
Confidentiality is at our core and while sharing is encouraged, you will never be pushed to express your feelings or experiences.
You can join us at any stage during the seven week programme and register at the door. As we are a voluntary support group, a nominal fee is payable at the door each week you attend.
The Beginning Experience Dublin residential weekend runs twice a year in May and November, from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.
The programme is designed to help grieving, newly single people move from the darkness of their grief into the light of a new beginning with a renewed hope.
Facilitators lead participants through a programme of presentations, personal private reflection and small group sharing. A sense of community develops in an atmosphere of care and concern.
Confidentiality is at our core and while sharing is encouraged, you will never be pushed to express your feelings or experiences.
Past participants have reported increased emotional health and self-respect, new skills to deal with pain of loss, healthier family relationships and a renewed energy to be more effective parents.
Single, en-suite bedrooms and all meals are provided. A fee is payable for this weekend. Please enquire for more details.
